Company Overview

Midven is an owner managed, entrepreneurial, venture capital company located in the heart of Birmingham. We have been successfully investing in dynamic, small and medium sized businesses since we started in 1990 when six Midlands based entrepreneurs established the business.

Like many of the companies we invest in, we completed a management buy-out in October 2007, when the investment team acquired the business from the original founders. This personal investment by the members of the team reflects our confidence in the future of Midven as well as the companies we have invested in.

We have ambitious plans and are targeting new funds focused on the early stage, technology and SME markets, capitalising on the expertise we have gained in these areas over the last 18 years.
